Trusting

The German Philosopher Friedrich Nietzche (1844-1900) was noted to have said, “I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you.” Some people are never around others who lie while others are exposed to lying from multiple associates every day. When people are lied to it can become difficult to trust others or even distinguish when a person is actually telling the truth.

Tell about someone you know you can trust. How do you know that what they tell you is valid? Now, to contrast, tell about someone you know you cannot trust. How do you know if they are telling the truth? Why do you believe that they continue to lie to others?
